Mabee in Chicago... I know... it's cheesy but it's the best I could come up with that wasn't already taken (please forgive me - I'll try to restrain the amount of cheesy-ness the rest of the semester!)
Well, in eight short days and I will be hopping in the car and leaving for Chicago.
Here's what I know:
We are staying in a hotel for the first week, orientation starts on the 31st.
In those first five days we pick roommates, apartments, and internships.
We move in to our apartments on the 5th.
Classes start on the 8th.
We get a day off in October and a day off for Thanksgiving.
The program ends December 11th.
And that's pretty much it.
It's a whole lot of unknowns and essentially terrifying... but I know I just have to get past those first few weeks and then it will be a blast.
My hope is that I'll be able to keep this fairly up to date with everything that's going on while I explore the life, culture, and whatever else may be in the crazy city of Chicago.
